I started out with Levin shortly after graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 2012 and completing a 1 year internship in marketing and communications. This team gave me the ability and confidence to learn and grow in various aspects of the company and on a personal level. I continue to excel in the goals I set for myself each year while expanding and growing a strong team. Not only does Levin support an incredible work and home life balance but I am proud to work for a reputable, small, family-owned business that is well known for giving back to the community. There are several important reasons to work at Levin's. I reviewed the company mission and vision statement when hired and can truly say that their goals are not just words. They really support and care about their employees. they are generous and reasonable when it comes to compensation, benefits and amenities. And they believe in taking care of good people. Because of this, many of the employees that I have met have been with Levin's for upwards of 15, 20 years. You can think of making a career here and not just having a job. The company is highly employee and customer focused and the culture is very open and welcoming. They make a sincere effort to support the local communities in which they do business. Levin is family owned and from the day you start they treat you like family. Robert Levin cares about and will go out of his way to speak to you whether you're his top salesperson or a part time stock worker going to college. It is something you don't find anymore. They do not cap commission, the more you sell the more you make! He advertises constantly to keep business coming in the door. Levin Furniture opens new stores and also reinvests in old stores and renovates them. I honestly love my job and I was so close to taking another offer and it is the best choice I could have made. The pay is great. We get great benefits like 401k match, paid vacations, profit sharing, health, dental and vision insurance. They throw a holiday party, summer picnic and fall event. The money, benefits and being treated like family is more than I ever expected.
